Microsoft has released Visual Studio 2012 RTM for MSDN subscribers on 15th AUG 2012. MSDN Subscribers can download it from MSDN here, logging in with your msdn credentials.

Download Microsoft Visual Studio Ultimate 2012

There are two types of installers

1. Web Installer (vs_ultimate.exe): – which will download all necessary packages from the download source location before installation.

2. Download a DVD5 ISO image (VS2012_ULT_ENU.iso): you can use it for offline installation. The ISO image contains all the necessary software’s for the installation. You can download the ISO image directly and install it.

To Install

1. Click on the appropriate install link below based on your version of Visual Studio:

You can install everything you need for Windows Azure development using the Web Platform Installer

a. Installer for VS 2010 SP1

b. Installer for VS 2012 (RTM)  – it will not work with pre-release versions of VS2012.

OR

2. You can also automate the installation with the WebPICmd Command-Line Tool using the AppID:

WindowsAzureToolsVS2010_1_7_1 (for Visual Studio 2010 SP1)

or

WindowsAzureToolsVS2012 (for Visual Studio 2012 – RTM) – it will not work with pre-release versions of VS2012.

OR

3. Manual install by downloading appropriate installable from Microsoft Download Center:

Note: This software release is intended for VS 2010 SP1 and VS 2012 RTM. The files on this release will not work with any pre-release versions of VS 2012.
